Bearing Witness: A Healing Circle

The outdoors can be a healing place, and it's great for us to talk about. But first, sometimes we need to talk about those times it has been less than that for us as Black people. 

Join Climbers of Color's Crystal and Keith for a healing circle to talk about the trying and wonderful experiences you have had. At the end we will do a releasing exercise to re-center ourselves that you can use later on in your life.

This workshops is meant to be a safe space to express yourself. Please be mindful of language and respect all other participants. 

Instructor bios

Crystal Hudelson (she/her/li) and Keith Murakata (he/him) are the co-directors of Rock Instruction for Climbers of Color. Crystal is an AMGA apprentice rock guide, single pitch instructor and wilderness first responder certified. Keith is a single pitch instructor and has Wilderness First Aid certification. 

Crystal and Keith are currently building their first climbing wall in their backyard and will feature roof climbing.
